Whereas the Governor in Council deems it necessary to control the export or transfer of goods for the purposes of implementing an intergovernmental arrangement or commitment and ensuring the orderly export marketing of goods that are subject to a limitation imposed by a country on the quantity of the goods that, on importation into that country in any given period, is eligible for the benefit provided for goods imported within that limitation;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to paragraphs 3(1)(d) and (f) and section 6 of the Export and Import Permits Act, makes the annexed Order Amending the Order Amending the Export Control List.

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil est d’avis qu’il est nécessaire de contrôler l’exportation ou le transfert de marchandises pour mettre en œuvre un accord ou un engagement intergouvernemental et assurer la commercialisation ordonnée à l’exportation de marchandises soumises à une limitation de la quantité de marchandises pouvant être importée dans un pays qui, au moment de son importation dans ce pays dans une période donnée, est susceptible de bénéficier du régime préférentiel prévu dans le cadre de cette limitation,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu des alinéas 3(1)d) et f) et de l’article 6 de la Loi sur les licences d’exportation et d’importation, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Décret modifiant le Décret modifiant la Liste des marchandises et technologies d’exportation contrôlée, ci-après.
